Bedford Shelving Ltd was formed recently when Bedford and Soar Ltd was acquired from the Soar Engineering Group, and is now associated with Booth Wire Products.
Bedford and Soar Ltd can trace its roots back to London in the 1830's where it manufactured window and fire guards as well as a nifty line in mouse traps.
Since then Bedford and Soar Ltd has designed and manufactured world class wire products, especially shelving and racking solutions and bespoke wire products.
The company started making specialist wire products for hospitals in the 1960's and began manufacturing wire shelving early in the 1970's.
Today we use automated equipment and CAD systems..although we still have wire workers whose valuable experience we use to make prototypes and small batches.
