If the wrap picks something undesirable off the shelf it was sitting on it is carried along with the wrap.  It can easily be transferred to hands that touch the wrap and surfaces that come into contact with the wrap.  At this point they can come into contact with something they shouldn’t or hang around waiting for the opportunity too.  This cross contamination is un predictable an a major cause of infection.

What about spills, leaks and splashes?

How long is it before mishaps are noticed? Are they 100% cleaned?

Undesirables in spills, leaks and splashes quickly multiply especially in damp conditions.  It isn’t long before they become a hazard looking for a way off the surface to cause trouble.

What about the filthy film and smells?

Bio film builds up when undesirables are active.  The film and often a smell is a by product of breeding microbes.  The smell is usually a sure sign of trouble as moulds and fungus spores are airborne.  Cross infection via contact with the bio film is a hazard.
